How to wear the minimalist look with a twist

I’ve been obsessed with culottes over the last season, but never got the chance to wear them. I bought a few, but they were just staring at me from the hangers. Then, London Fashion Week came and what better time to feature them in an outfit, than at the cool kids party? I went for a slouchy look, one that my husband doesn’t approve at all, but babe, I feel amazing with comfy clothes, I don’t need to wear bodycon skirts all the time. I feel more beautiful when I can move properly, you know?

The long coatigan gave me mixed feelings when I bought it, but after trying it on with a few essential pieces, I feel in love with it in an instant. It creates this manly look that I can’t get over, and you will see me wearing it a lot this spring. Layer, layer, layer, said someone wise, and I went for it with this slit sides olive jumper, paring to perfection the orangy culottes, for a more vibrant and a more me look. The chunky heels went smoothly with the outfit, as I was aiming for something edgy, and the beautiful oversized bag from Brand Alley added a bit of girliness that characterizes me.

I’ve heard some people complain about me wearing sandals in the middle of February, but you know what? London is not known for its long summers, so we have to start somewhere, right? After all, I am not complaining about how some people dress, although I should definitely do it;)
