All dressed up for the London city guide
If I wouldn’t have been a lifestyle blogger, I would’ve been a professional traveller. Oh, wait, I do have a travel section on my blog, so I think I have that checked. To acquire the professional level, though, there should be many places and miles to reach, happily I might add. I have teamed up with Little Mistress to explore London and show you the best places to eat, drink and have fun. With each occasion I picked a beautiful dress from Little Mistress to give you some style inspiration this autumn. The article is an interview actually, for the Little Insider, the September issue, so make a nice tea and enjoy reading. There are also a few bits and bobs you didn’t know about me, as a treat.[custom_heading justify=”true”]Where is your favourite place to take photos in London?[/custom_heading]
There are many beautiful places to take pictures for my blog in London, such as Notting Hill’s houses as a backdrop, or interesting hotel lobbies, such as the Ham Yard Hotel in Piccadilly. London is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with a rich cosmopolitan culture, and as a result, places like Camden Town, Shoreditch, Covent Garden and St. Katharine Docks are just a few of my favourite.
[custom_heading center=”true”]What item of clothing can’t you live without?[/custom_heading]
I can’t live without dresses, they define my style, feminine and minimalist, probably because I was always dressed up when I was a young child. I am constantly admiring the red carpet gowns, and secretly wishing I had daily events I could wear something like Prada Couture. [custom_heading center=”true”]Where do you look for fashion inspiration?[/custom_heading]
Mostly in fashion magazines, on the catwalks and I am frequently checking other bloggers and influencers.
[custom_heading center=”true”]Where’s your favourite place to shop in London?[/custom_heading]
I love Fortnum and Mason, Liberty, they stock unique things, from chocolates to perfumes and clothes, amazing places to find the perfect gift. For fashion I prefer online shopping, but since I am a constant presence at events in central London, I must admit I never miss any new collection on Oxford or Regent streets. [custom_heading center=”true”]A little unknown fact about me is:[/custom_heading]
Not many people know that I have nothing to do with fashion as a profession, I am a trained PhD in Economics, but I prefer to dedicate my time to my website and not do research in some university. [custom_heading center=”true”]When I am not blogging I am:[/custom_heading]
I am reading a lot of Economics books, I still love this big part of my life. I also love binge watching shows, such as Reign, Downton Abbey, and Scandal, to name just a few.
[custom_heading center=”true”]Best place to go out is:[/custom_heading]
I have just discovered many treasures in Old Street, where cool people hang out. From great food, to hedonist clubs, and quirky gift shops, you must definitely check this place out.
