Meet Elena: Food-, Fashion-, and Lifestyle-Blogger tells us who she would like to switch lives with and more!

written by

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I have been a lifestyle blogger for 2 years, based in London. I love fashion, dressing up for events and photoshoots and I mostly do it for fun. I also love collaborating with brands, enhancing their awareness and getting to know more about the fashion and lifestyle industry.

2. Are you a full time blogger or do you have a ‘normal’ job as well?

I am not a full time blogger, although I want to work for my passion and I dedicate a big chunk of my time to it. I have a Phd in Economics, so in my spare time I am an educational consultant for students.

3.What do you personally spend most of your money on?

Obviously, I spend most of my money on clothes and makeup, I am woman after all. But, I forgot to mention I have been a food blogger as well, for 8 years now, long before starting my fashion inspiring blog. Therefore, I spend the rest of my money on restaurants, food and kitchen supplies.

4. What was the craziest request you ever got from a company? And how did you react?

I haven’t received too many crazy requests from companies. Probably, the closest one to this topic is one brand asked me to do a feature about baby clothes. I have no such category on my blog, so the PR most likely didn’t read my blog at all.

5. What was your Blog-Highlight 2014?

My best blog post in 2014 is one close to my heart, a shooting I did for Christmas, my favorite season of the year.

6. Is there any person, Blogger or not, who you would like to switch lives with? Or just one day?

Kristina Bazan’s life seems pretty exciting and full of great events, so I might want to switch lives with her for one day. I mean, receiving an Iphone 6 Plus engraved with the invitation for Hugo Boss’s fashion show is something.

7. Fashoin Week started during January and is going on still. What was your favourite moment so far, or what designer are you still patiently waiting for?

I am getting ready to go to London Fashion Week on Friday, so I am excited seeing lots of British designers. My favorite is Huishan Zhang, a young designer focusing on feminine silhouettes and fairytales.
