August favorites: new beauty products you will love

For the past few months I had tried so many beauty products and fell in love with many of them, that I want to share with you on today’s post. My cabinets have no more space whatsoever, but I still find new amazing cosmetics I feel compelled to give them a go. Since I have a saying in the beauty department, with me being a woman and all, here are the brands I am recommending this summer.

You’ve heard me talk about Davines before, but I still can’t get over this hair care brand. Founded in Parma, Italy in 1983 by the Bollati Family, Davines Group started as a research laboratory, producing high-end hair care products for renowned cosmetic companies worldwide. After a decade of honing their expertise, the Davines hair care products exclusively for salons. I have tried the Momo shampoo and conditioner for quite a while now and I love that it is ideal for dry or dehydrated hair. The scent has a fruity and green note, and leaves my hair completely nourished without taking its thickness. You should definitely add it on your list, the range covers all hair issues!

There was a time when I was so skinny, I could’ve eaten anything and still looked famished. Things have changed since then, and my body is now a proof of so many cakes and burgers. I do go to gym whenever I can, but with all the projects I have been having lately, there is no time for that, unfortunately. I looked for a miracle cream that will wipe away my cellulite, but science hasn’t caught up with my desires so far. Fortunately, Nip + Lip is a fabulous skincare and body care range founded by Maria Hatzistefanis (founder of Rodial). I am a Bareminerals fanatic. I have been trying a lot of their beauty and skincare products and I love them. You can read a much more detailed review I did a few months back. This time I tried the Blemish Remedy powder foundation, which is going to be released this autumn. Gentle yet effective, this non-drying, mineral-powdered foundation conceals imperfections and helps reduce the appearance of blemishes for clearer-looking skin. I was a bit skeptic at the beginning, I didn’t believe a powder may cover so much, but I was stunned! I apply concealer and then this powerful foundation and it lasts all day, it covers really well, and it doesn’t dry at all! I have tried it on the hottest day this summer and it behave excellent, so well done, Bareminerals!

Benefit doesn’t need any introduction. You all know the brand and most of you are using it, since it has vip products in each category. Recently I tried the Hello Flawless Oxygen foundation and all the ravings are true: this foundations has a medium coverage for a natural complexion you can believe in. It’s you…just more luminous & healthy looking. You literally can’t feel it on your face! If you have any blemishes or dark circles, you should definitely use Boi-ing. This award-winning concealer camouflages dark circles, shadows and discoloration without creasing or fading. Even better…the industrial-strength formula is now available in FIVE shades, with a full range from light to deep. Now all gals can be imperfection-free.

Radical skincare is an amazing brand I found out about a couple of months ago. Since then I have used their miracle serum and I am writing this review now because I wanted to see how it works and if all the praises are for real. The most powerful skincare that is paraben free, designed for all skin types and for sensitive skin, this brand delivers on so many levels. I have been really impressed with how my skin looked after two months of using the Radical Advanced Peptide Antioxidant Serum. A powerhouse anti oxidant collagen boosting anti-wrinkle serum that shields against the free radicals responsible for skin aging that repairs past damage and defends against future damage. The only serum fighting the 16 causes of aging with 10 fruits in one bottle with clinically proven results. Designed for sensitive skin to fight breakouts and get the red out. For short, it didn’t breakout my skin like many other serums, my complexion feels much more hydrated, smooth, and firm. The Skin-Absolute Day reduces all signs of aging, such as lines, skin spots, skin tone. It also optimizes the skin’s natural defenses against harmful rays; detoxifies the skin and protects it against urban pollution. The cream retails for £99 and is going to be available starting this September in Marks & Spencer and Feelunique.

The brand I am going to rave about is Anne Semonin. French, (duh) it was created 25 years ago, when Anne Semonin was a founder of the spa concept and remained dedicated to providing exceptional spa venues all over the world, devoted to the transformative beauty and wellbeing journey of women. What you see in the photo above is science in ice cubes. I have never met this technique before, but the first time I have used the Express Radiance Ice Cubes, I had a forum video shot for Kerastase and one of the ladies there told me I was one of the most beautiful women she ever met. My first reaction was she must’ve been surrounded only by ugly women, since I am far from being beautiful, but then I remembered I used these cubes and my face was radiant, plumped and much more relaxed than it normally is. So thank you, Anne for the most flattering compliment I have ever got from a woman!
