5 minutes makeup for newly moms

When I found out I was pregnant, I instantly thought about, well, loads of things, but through all the rambling in my head, makeup issues came pretty fast. I used to have an entire ritual, long and pretty typical, before going out to an event, dinner, or a meeting. I needed around 3 hours to do my hair, makeup, and dressing up. It does seem a lot, but when you’re in the world of blogging and all eyes are on you, you can never make a mistake. I am joking, obviously, but I’ve been like that since forever, quite a perfectionist when I had to go out.

As you can imagine, having a baby is wonderful. But it also takes up all your time. ALL YOUR TIME! There is no going out, no fancy dresses, no washing, no sleeping. Somehow I’ve let go of all of that because everything gets replaced with something much better. The love of your child surpasses all events, and going to the shops wearing no makeup seemed pretty natural to me now. But you can’t stay indoors forever, or hiding your tired face behind sunglasses, so a plan should be set into place as soon as possible.

I remember spending an hour in front of the mirror to apply my foundation, doing my eyebrows, eyeliner, and co. Admittedly, I am a beauty fanatic and always keep up with all the trends and launches in the industry. But a newly mom doesn’t have an hour to spend looking at those tired undereye bags, trust me. So I had to think about good quality makeup bits which I can include in my day to day makeup bag and a wonderful and fast technique to apply them in 5 minutes. It isn’t as difficult when you have the right brands in your hands. 

Apply a good face cream. It should become your best friend.
